Influence of Ascophyllum nodosum algae extract on finishing growth performance and nutrient digestibility of buffalo calves in warm climates

This study examined the use of Ascophyllum nodosum extract (Tasco®) in buffalo calves and its effects on performance and feed utilization.
Supplementation at 1% improved feed conversion efficiency and final body weight, with calves requiring less feed per unit of gain.
It also enhanced the digestibility of key nutrients, supporting better overall feed utilization without affecting gas production parameters.
