Newton et al.

This study examined how Ascophyllum nodosum (330 g/d)affects mineral content in milk. Supplementation increased iodine, magnesium, and phosphorus levels, modifying the mineral profile of dairy products.
While mineral transfer efficiency varied, there were no negative impacts on cow's hematological parameters, indicating the strategy is safe for animal health when dietary iodine levels are managed carefully.
