This study explored the effects of Tasco on growth and reproductive performance in young male goats exposed to heat stress.
Although supplementation did not significantly impact growth performance, carcass traits, or scrotal development, it had a notable reproductive benefit. Goats receiving the seaweed extract showed significantly higher sperm cell concentrations, indicating improved reproductive potential under stressful environmental conditions.
Despite slightly elevated rectal temperatures, sperm cell concentration was enhanced while motility remained unaffected, suggesting that Tasco can support specific fertility parameters during the thermal stress.
